China claims transparency, urges U.S. to reverse progress-damaging policies

In recalling the events and exchange of visits in 2011, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China noted in its official media outlet that U.S.-Chinese military relations took a turn for the better last year after reaching what it describes as an all-time low in 2010. The statement noted particular progress in reducing misunderstandings and misjudgments and increasing trust due to open dialogue and professional exchanges.
