Tunisia looks to Community of Democracies for technical assistance

Senior officials representing 20 countries and a number of international organizations gathered in the transitioning country to discuss Tunisia’s progress in reforming the security sector, the judiciary, and public administration. They also discussed regional development and civil society’s involvement. At the previous Community of Democracies meeting in July of 2011 in Vilnius, Latvia, Tunisia presented a plan of action and a task force was created.
